Have spent most of my time awake throwing rubbish away, tidying and vacuuming, hoping that I will meet the high standards of Mr OCD when he arrives.
I have spent the rest of the time contemplating the Journey in Faith session I went to last night. About a third of it was about God, Creation and prayer, while the rest of it was a huge tangent about ghosts, including a mysterious lady in white, a flock of ghosts out at night disturbing the cattle and events in the Bermuda Triangle. I was tempted to share my own ghost stories (I read them while alone at night so now I can’t ever forget them) or steer the topic back to religion, but I did not want to be accused of trying to be the priest (we are warned about this every week; the laity cannot be the priest!!).
Master, I pray for everyone at these JiF sessions. At this rate we’re all going to need it. I do not claim to be a fountain of knowledge concerning faith, since I am but a lowly padawan, but I pray that the ghosts will butt out of future sessions.
